Job Description: Senior Cloud Expert
Role Summary
The Senior Cloud Expert will be the technical lead for designing, implementing, and optimizing complex, multi-cloud (public/private) solutions on a critical project. This role requires an individual with deep architectural expertise, hands-on experience in cloud governance, security, and advanced knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture & Design: Design and deploy highly available, scalable, and secure cloud environments (focus on AWS/Azure/GCP is preferred).
Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Develop and maintain IaC scripts using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for automated resource provisioning and management.
Security & Compliance: Define and enforce cloud security policies, network security groups, IAM roles, and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Performance Optimization: Monitor cloud performance, manage cost utilization, and implement optimization strategies for compute, storage, and database services.
DevOps Integration: Integrate cloud infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Troubleshooting: Serve as the final escalation point for complex cloud infrastructure issues and performance bottlenecks.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 8+ years in Cloud Engineering/Architecture.
Education: BE/B.Tech/MCA from a recognized institution.
Technical Expertise: Expert-level proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with a strong understanding of core services (VPC/VNet, EC2/VMs, S3/Storage Accounts, IAM, Load Balancers).
Certifications: Professional-level cloud certification is mandatory (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect).
Skills: Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) and demonstrable experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
