CANCEL INVENTORY ADJUSTMENT
This module gives us the functionality to cancel inventory adjustments.

Features

  • We will have the option to cancel inventory adjustments after validating.
  • The related stock moves will automatically get canceled.
  • We will have option to reset the canceled inventory adjustment to draft stage

Configuration

  • Assign "Allow Inventory Adjustment Cancellation" group to the user.

    • The Process flow is as shown below:

  • Create inventory adjustment,select the product(s) and click on start inventory

    • Now we click on validate inventory and we can see that the state changes from in progress to validated.

    Cancel adjustment button becomes visible after validating the inventory adjustment.

    On clicking cancel adjustment button, the system asks for confirmation.

    In the stock moves all related moves for the canceled inventory adjustment automatically get canceled.

    After canceling the inventory adjustment button of "set to draft" becomes visible.

    On clicking Set to draft state of inventory adjustment changes from canceled to draft and we can see that start inventory button is again visible.
